AMICC offers a variety of sports programs for boys and girls:
Soccer, Roller Hockey, Little League Baseball, Basketball, Football
and Wiffle Ball, along with Cheerleading.
You can fill out the online registration form, or come into the
Community Center to register at the front desk.
SOCCER.... 2008 Fall Soccer
Come and join the Anna Maria Island Community Center's largest and
most popular sport. Whether you're a skilled soccer player or just a
beginner, our Fall Soccer League has a place for you. Kids age 5-17
are encouraged to come out and play.
BASKETBALL SEASON
Season has
Begun!
Do you enjoy the roar of the crowd after a last second shot was
made??? Do you like putting the pressure on with a full court press?
If so then A.M.I.C.C. Basketball may be the sport for you. Come and
be a part of the fastest growing sport on the Island, and while you
are at it, bring a friend. Check back early in November for
registration details.
PARTICIPANTS: Ages 5-7, 8 – 9, 10 – 11, 12 -13, 14 -17
REGISTRATION: Begins October 13th, latest November 14th.
HELD: Nov. 17th 2008 - Feb. 17th 2009 Monday - Saturday (2 Games & 1
Practice per Week)

LITTLE LEAGUE
Come and join the hometown spirit of the Little League Baseball on
Anna Maria Island. There is no better time to play baseball then the
beginning of Spring. The sun is out, the grass is green and the
runner is sliding into homeplate!. Go ahead and PLAY BALL!
Registration starts in January. Season opener is in March. Call Andy
for further information at 778-1908.
MONSTER JAM: 3 on 3 Basketball
Tournament
Bring your crew “Monster Jam” has returned! Double Elimination TEAMS
are allowed 4 players maximum. Sign ups include 3 on 3 T-shirt and
teams are guaranteed 2 or more games. There will be a dunk contest
and 3 point shootout.
PARTICIPANTS: Ages 8 – 9, 10 – 11, 12 -13, 14 -15, 16-17, 18 - 29,
30 – 39, 40+
REGISTRATION: Begins June 1st, latest July 7th.
HELD: May 23rd - 25th 2009 Saturday – Monday,
TIMES: TBA
FEES: Member $75.00 per team by 5/1/09 or $100 after 5/1/09

BASKETBALL CAMP
REGISTER NOW!
Another one of our before-season camps is offered as a 1-day, four
hour camp. This basketball camp teaches your players basic knowledge
of the game, allowing them to gain confidence and skills that will
guide them through the season.
PARTICIPANTS: Ages 5-7, 8 – 13
REGISTRATION: Begins October 13th, latest November 21st.
HELD: Saturday November 22nd
TIMES: Age 8-13 10:00am - 3:00pm (1/2 lunch, Pizza by Dominos), Age
5-7 3:30pm -4:30pm
FEES: Member $20.00, Non-Member $30

“DRIVEN” BASKETBALL CAMP
Are you Driven? After Day 1 orientation, Players’ determination will
be tested by endurance training and character development. Day 2
through Day 4 Players will separate into squads and perform routine
offensive and defensive skills and other team building activities.
Day 5 through Day 9: Let the Games Begin! Squads will scrimmage,
utilize the ongoing skill training bestowed upon during Camp. After
successful completion of the Camp, Players will have the pride that
accompanies those who are Driven. Do you have what it takes?
